Excellent host — just the right amount of information/communication, everything I needed. One of the smoothest and easiest check-in processes I’ve experienced. Directions were very clear and had all of the information needed. The location is fantastic — easy walking distance to the Space Needle area (Seattle Center) where there is a monorail station is. Boarding the monorail to go to the waterfront area (downtown, aquarium, wharf/waterfront,…) was quick, smooth, and easy. The area around the apartment is nice and we were very comfortable walking around in the area. Plenty of restaurants nearby and a couple of grocery stores (Safeway and Metropolitan Market) within easy walking distance. The Metropolitan Market was especially nice and the Uptown China restaurant just a few steps down the street was very good. Getting in the building along with getting into the apartment once in the building was secure and easy. The apartment was comfortable and had everything we needed. We spent most of every day ‘out and about’ in the area and Seattle in general and the apartment was a great place for a ‘base of operations’ and a great place to relax after a long day with a lot of walking. We arrived in Seattle at King Street Station and left Seattle via Sea-Tac airport. We used Uber for getting to/from both but believe mass transportation could be used without much difficulty. We had a couple of large suitcases so Uber right to/from the building door was easier for us.

Over the past decade, Airbnb and other online travel agencies (OTAs) have steadily increased their service fees — for both guests and hosts.
What began as a simple structure (guests paying ~6% and hosts 3%) has shifted dramatically.
As of 2025 in the U.S., Airbnb now charges hosts 15.5% while guests pay 0% — with industry chatter suggesting this may rise to 16.5%.
These are significant costs layered on top of your stay…and none of them improve your experience.
Book direct with 29 Nights and enjoy a simple 4% service fee, while helping all of us avoid the consequences of high commissions charged by the dominant third-party platforms.
