Our name references the legal definition of short-term rentals in Washington, but alludes to so much more. While we specialize in curating exquisite 1-3 night stays, we also have the skill and experience to provide longer-term accommodations. We’ve hosted guests for 3-4 months at a time, or even longer, during challenging periods like the COVID-19 pandemic.
Most importantly, we’re not a faceless corporation looking to profit off your moment of peace. We’re Seattle residents, born and raised, with a passion for sharing our beautiful state with other travelers yearning for memories worth recreating.
One of our major motivations for getting into the short-term rental business was the opportunity to meet new people from all walks of life and interact with fellow passionate travelers. We care about having real, human interactions. What does that mean? Well, we don’t use chatbots or automated messaging, and our concierge team is available 24/7 to assist in real-time with anything you need, from lodging concerns to restaurant recommendations.

I have a passion for exploring and discovering different cultures, and I’ve been fortunate to have traveled to some exotic places and experienced some amazing things – like trekking 500 miles as a peregrino along the Camino de Santiago in Spain, winter camping in a quinzhee in the Wind River Range of Wyoming, learning the meaning of Pura Vida while surfing in Costa Rica, and witnessing the supreme beauty of the Himalayas while summiting the Annapurna Sanctuary trek in Nepal.
As a Seattle native, I’m proud as well of the world-class offerings of the Pacific Northwest, and I’m on a mission to share them with others.
