ABOUT 29 NIGHTS
Hospitality that feels personal
29 Nights is a founder-led hospitality company – a small, deliberate collection of Pacific Northwest homes, cared for by the people who built it. Not an anonymous listing operator.
OUR STORY
How the collection came together
29 Nights began in Seattle in 2017, started by locals born and raised here who wanted a short-term stay to feel cared for, not transactional. The name comes from Washington’s legal definition of a short-term rental – up to 29 nights – but it stands for more: a handful of homes chosen deliberately, from riverfront escapes beyond the city to walkable homes in Seattle and Bellevue.
What ties them together isn’t a look – it’s a standard. Every home is prepared, cared for, and supported the same way, whether you’re staying a single night or several months.
MEET THE FOUNDER
Personal accountability behind every stay
Hunter Freeman started 29 Nights in Seattle in 2017 on a simple belief – that hospitality should never feel anonymous. A Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt under Marcelo Alonso in the Carlson Gracie lineage, he brings the same discipline, humility, and consistency from the mat to how he leads the team and shows up for every guest.

HOSPITALITY, KEPT HUMAN
Real people. No chatbots.
When you message 29 Nights, you reach a real person on the team caring for your stay – not a bot, not an outsourced queue. Our concierge is on call 24/7 and holds a 10-minute response standard during your trip. And when there’s a birthday or honeymoon to mark, that same team is the reason a cake, flowers, or a trail of rose petals can be waiting.
It's a deliberate choice: technology handles the booking, people handle the hospitality.

«We had a wonderful stay! The house was very well equipped, with an easy keypad check-in, a well-stocked kitchen, hot tub, sauna, two dog beds, and a long line for our dog to enjoy the backyard safely. The hosts were very responsive and had the chocolate cake and birthday decorations we requested ready for our arrival, which was such a thoughtful touch. Overall, my husband, our dog, and I had a lovely and memorable weekend here. We really enjoyed our stay!»

«This hidden valley was pure magic, with peaceful deer, bird chirping and stunning night skies. It was a wonderful place to relax in nature and take in the beautiful vista. The distant train whistle added to making this place the perfect escape!»
